After spending the night at my parent’s Sunday night, we woke at 3am Monday morning and drove out to Yosemite’s Tenaya Lodge<\/a>, where Captain America<\/a> had medical conference to attend for the week. We got in around 6:30am. Even though we weren’t staying in the hotel but rather camping, we fortunately had the luxury to use the hotel amenities during the day. I ended up hitting the gym and spent most my late morning by the pool, where I read my book and patiently waited for Cap to get out of his conference.

\nAfter the conference ended at 1pm, we headed over to the Goat Meadow Snow Play Area, where dispersed camping is allowed and set up Cap’s beloved Scout for a quick nap before our next move.

\nAfterward, we ventured into Yosemite National Park to check out the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. <\/p>\n

\nAfter our short little hike amongst the big trees, we stopped at the Wawona Hotel<\/a> for a delicious dinner.
