We hiked up the Sentintel Dome<\/a> – a very easy 2mile roundtrip hike. At the top is a 360 degree view of Yosemite Valley, which was gorgeous. You could see El Capitan, Vernal and Nevada Falls, the Half Dome and so much more. This was like an extremely easy warm-up for what was to come the following day.

From there, we traveled further into Yosemite Valley, where we passed majestic meadows that looked like something from a Disney film.

\nWe made a stop at the Ahwahnee Hotel<\/a>, which happens to be the one that inspired Kubrick’s set design for Stephen King’s The Shining<\/a>.

\nWe had dinner at the Ahwahnee then camped out on another campground, getting some rest for what was soon to come. <\/p>\n
